Definition
Color Blindness can be defined as difficulty seeing, or perceiving, a certain color or shade of color normally.
Cause
There are many ways someone can become colorblind. The most common way, is that people are just born colorblind, and live for the rest of their life that way. However, there are ways someone can become colorblind, such as aging and injuries.
Symptoms
Symptoms for Color Blindness include difficulty seeing some shades of certain colors, and differentiating colors from each other. Rarer, more severe symptoms include REM, or Rapid Eye Movement.
Treatment
Currently, there is no cure for Color Blindness. However, those affected can use tinted lenses to minimize the effects of color blindness on their everyday lives. Also, those affected can have gene therapy.
Prevention
There is no prevention for Color Blindness.
Transmission
Color Blindness is transmitted genetically, from parent to offspring.
